Bratton Law’s Director of Elder Care Coordination, Anne Markel-Crozier, celebrates 5 years with attorney Chris Bratton! As Director of Elder Care Coordination, Anne works closely with our clients in the areas of elder law and life care planning. Specifically, she assists clients and their families in coordination of their health and long term care, serves as their advocate, and empowers them with the knowledge they need to attain the highest quality of life in every circumstance.
Over the past 5 years, Anne has served on the Life Care Planning Law Firm Association’s Board of Directors, was elected committee chairperson of the Tri-County Regional Ethics Committee, became a co-instructor of the Certificate in Elder Care Coordination Program at Stockton University and has most recently formed Dementia Friendly America New Jersey Task Force and serves on the board. All the while advocating for our clients and their families and educating the community about the importance of full service life care planning.
Once referred to as one client’s “savior,” Anne’s devotion to our clients, loyalty to our team, and passion for the life care planning model and mission makes Anne a priceless part of our family. For the last 5 years, she has continued to go above and beyond for our clients and we know she will continue to inspire us for many years to come! Congratulations Anne!
- Which part of your job do you enjoy the most/what is your favorite thing about working here?
Being able to see that I am making a difference and becoming part of my client’s family. I can actually see the weight lifting off their shoulders. I also love educating the community and other professionals.
- What is your favorite memory working for Chris?
I have so many but probably becoming a life care planning law firm and being able to watch it grow and help our aging clients. I also remember early on in our relationship when I was still getting to know Chris and I saw his strong exterior soften when he showed so much compassion for a client. He was empathetic and truly cared about helping her. That’s when I knew we were going to make a difference and we would be family.
- Tell us something that may surprise us about you.
I was born in Iowa, I am the youngest of five children, I LOVE the Pittsburgh Steelers, and I have never traveled outside of the US but have been to 47 of the 50 states including Hawaii and Alaska.
- What three words would you use to best describe Bratton Law?
Devoted, compassionate, family.
- Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Hopefully surrounded by many grandchildren and my children, still taking care of seniors, working alongside Chris and hopefully having a beach house to make memories in.
