A Delaware court finds that a Medicaid applicant’s daughter, who signed as a responsible party to the admission agreement, is responsible for her mother’s private pay requirement during her Medicaid pending status.  This is a prime example of why we urge clients to consult with an experienced attorney prior to undertaking any planning or admission so that we may properly advise and direct as to the most appropriate course of action.
